Yes, the non-slip backing of our bath mat is made from SBR to ensure effectiveness on all types of flooring. Whether you have very slippery tiles, wood, or other floor surfaces, our bath mat provides full grip so you can move safely in your bathroom without slipping.
Please make sure the floor is completely dry before placing your bath mat down. Pay special attention to setups where water may seep underneath the mat (e.g., certain walk-in showers), as this can make it slippery. The non-slip backing must not be in direct contact with water in order to remain effective.
Is my Salty non-slip pebble bath mat compatible with my walk-in shower?
Yes, but only if your shower has a curb and there is no risk of a large amount of water flowing under the bath mat.
This could make it very slippery, and we strongly advise against using it with this type of shower. Currently, there is no bath mat compatible with showers that do not drain water properly.

Yes, its fibers dry extremely quickly—5 times faster than a traditional bath mat. This allows you to enjoy a bath mat that stays dry and ready to use for the whole family.

How can I fully disinfect my Salty pebble bath mat?
Use carpet- and rug-specific cleaning products. We recommend disinfectant foams designed for carpets. Let the foam sit for 15 to 30 minutes, and your bath mat will be even cleaner than after a 90°C machine wash.
You can also use dry carpet and rug cleaners, which are extremely effective on the fibers of your bath mat while providing antibacterial action. After a few minutes, simply vacuum it.

Yes, thanks to its antibacterial properties, vacuuming our bath mat is 100% recommended for impeccable hygiene.
Ag+ silver ions are used in hospitals to prevent bacteria and germs from developing. This type of maintenance can be done daily, as often as you wish.

Yes, the non-slip backing made from recycled SBR is specifically designed to withstand continuous high heat.
Can I machine-wash my Salty pebble bath mat?
Yes, at 30°C without spin-drying, preferably in a full drum. However, we do not recommend it. It may affect its softness and the non-slip backing over time, especially with very frequent washing.
If you still want to machine-wash it, limit it to once a month. The less you wash it, the better it will retain its comfort and antibacterial properties.
Note: Machine washing is not necessary thanks to the Ag+ silver ion technology, which prevents bacterial growth and makes daily maintenance easier.
